PLEASE NOTE: As of April 30th, 2021, we have been offering a hybrid of in-person sangha gatherings (outside at a public NYC park) and virtual meetings on Zoom. For park gatherings, we start earlier than usual at 7:00 pm. Please see the events page for more information.

The following are suggestions to help you experience the benefits of gathering as a community online. When practicing virtually, some care is needed in recreating the sangha energy. While we are unable to practice together in-person, we can still create a space of mindful connection and togetherness.
● Treat the virtual space as you would the meditation hall by giving the sangha your whole attention. Reduce technical distractions by closing other programs on your screen and putting away your phone as you would do in-person.
● Turn your video on, if possible. This helps create a sense of community and allows others to see who they are sharing the space with.
● Mute microphones when not speaking to reduce background noise.
● Please commit to being present for the whole session. This helps create a safe and nourishing atmosphere for the community. If you need to be away from the screen, please turn off your video temporarily.
