Please join us at our weekly practice sessions: Friday Night Gathering
Sangha in the Park
Dear beloved community,
As we continue virtual Sangha, we are grateful and excited to have our first in-person gathering of 2021, outside at the park! Please join us on Friday, April 30th, at 7:00 pm EST in Central Park (Strawberry Fields).
We would love and deeply appreciate your presence as we practice joyfully together in sitting meditation, deep relaxation, reading, and Dharma sharing. We will gather in one of the lawns near the John Lennon Memorial (the “Imagine” mosaic in Strawberry Fields) – enter at Central Park West & W 72nd Street.
You may like to bring something comfortable to sit/lay on (e.g., cushion, blanket, towel). Though we feel it is safe to gather together outside, COVID-19 safety precautions are still encouraged, including physical distancing and mask-wearing.
Note: We will still have virtual Sangha practice on other Friday evenings. Please check the Wake Up New York Facebook group for announcements and schedule updates! As we are practicing in person this week, there will not be a Zoom meeting.
