Please join us at our weekly practice sessions: Friday Night Gathering
Sangha in the Park
Dear beloved community,
We are grateful and excited to continue in-person gatherings every other week in the spring and summer, outside at the park! The next park gathering is on Friday, June 18th, at 7:00 pm EST in Central Park (Pilgrim Hill). Email reminders will be sent prior to each park gathering with details.
We would love and deeply appreciate your presence as we practice joyfully together in sitting meditation, deep relaxation/walking meditation, reading, and Dharma sharing.
You may like to bring something comfortable to sit/lay on (e.g., cushion, blanket, towel). Though we feel it is safe to gather together outside, COVID-19 safety precautions are still encouraged.
Note: We will still have virtual Sangha practice on other Friday evenings. Please check the Wake Up New York Facebook group for announcements and schedule updates! When we practice in-person outside, there will not be a Zoom meeting.
Day of Mindfulness
The Community of Mindfulness New York Metro (CMNY) is part of a global network of sanghas composed of lay practitioners, dharma teachers, and monastics who practice in the Plum Village tradition. The CMNY hosts a monthly day of mindfulness (donation-based) on the 3rd Saturday of every month.
